The Goal Holiday Club

The Goal is a holiday club which aims to provide a high level of care for children aged 8-13years during the school holidays from Monday to Friday. Each day has a different theme and is structured to provide a wide range of activities for your child to participate in which will keep them entertained throughout the whole day.

The activities available each day will be based around the particular theme of that day and will involve using a range of different skills, materials and equipment. Although each day is structured, your child will be in a relaxed and social environment and all children will be engaged in a range of fun and exciting activities.
The Goal is located under the Co-op Community Stand and includes a range of facilities both in The Goal suite and in the Oasis lounge to enable a wide range of activities. In The Goal suite the facilities on offer include thirteen computers, a Nintendo Wii console, a Playstation 2 console, television with DVD player, and an activities area for arts and crafts, board games and reading.

The Oasis lounge is a large open area under the stand which provides a great space for indoor cricket, football and tennis, as well as there being two table-tennis tables and a pool table.

As well as having a great array of facilities and activities that can keep your child entertained all day every day, we do arrange various trips out. Over the years there have been many trips which have proved very successful, such as tours round some of the biggest football stadiums, including Old Trafford and Wembley. There have been great trips for those non-footballers such as watersports, bowling, swimming and lazer quest. Football in the Community will continue to organise trips out and, as well as repeating a few old favourites here and there, will seek to offer new and exciting activities for the children to discover!

The Goal has new young leader Daniel Burnett. The cost per day will be £20 which will include mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. The Goal will be open for school holidays and half terms.
