Treasury Rules

 
THE TREASURY RULES
 
1)        No agreements or expenses may be entered into for a value of over £50, including VAT, (except for postage and envelopes) except with the agreement of the Treasurer. In a situation of non-agreement, the Board is the final arbiter. If agreements are entered into without resort to proper procedures then that person takes on the liability of payment.
 
2)        No agreements or expenses may be entered into for a value of over £200, including VAT except with the agreement of the Board and must be accompanied by a cost benefit proposal. If agreements are entered into without resort to proper procedures then that person takes on the liability of payment.
 
3)        Where the value of a purchase is over £100 net, alternative quotations must be received.
 
4)         No Officer may enter into or sign any Agreement without the approval of the Board.
 
5)         No payments to be made to any Supplier for more than £50 without the approval of the Board.
 
6)         Banking arrangements can only be changed with the approval of the Board.
 
7)         Personal details of any of our members may not be given to any party outside the Board except to the Club.
 
8)         All payments designated for the Trust must be paid to the Trust not to the Club except for subscriptions via the Season Ticket. Subscriptions can be paid directly to the Club by Credit Card with the Chief Executive’s approval. All Gold Subscriptions must be paid to the Trust except by an alternative route approved by the Board before the transfer.
 
9)         The Club should be asked each December to give an account of subscriptions paid directly to the Club
