Chris Ashton, Chair of Lincoln City Supporters’ Trust is calling on all Imps fans to unite behind the Club and work together with the objective of retuning City to the Football League.
Chris, known by many as Mr Lincoln City for his life long devotion to the Club and his in-depth knowledge of all things City said, “At this crucial time in the history of Lincoln City we all, fans groups, club directors and employees, players, the manager and his staff and, most importantly all City fans, must get behind our team. The time is over for harping back to previous seasons, mistakes have been admitted to and, crucially, they will be learnt from”.
Chris continued by commenting, “The Trust has worked hard to make sure that we have clear policies on key issues, including investment and to share these policies by posting them to all adult members of the Trust, to have them available on our public website and we presented them to the Board of the Football Club. There is nothing secretive or closed in the way we operate, but we do respect personal and commercial confidentialities, we are currently seeking new members to join our Board and The Trust Board is always pleased to hear the views of individual members either in person or via our web site”.
Chris concluded by saying, “Going forward, the Trust has a crucial role as the voice of Imps fans, by ensuring potential investors have the Club at the centre of their plans and by raising further funds. Over the last 10-years the Trust has put thousands and thousands of pounds into
