Tim Wood, who is currently at Leeds University and hails from Washingborough, contacted the Trust through the website to make a donation. He had seen Leigh Curtis’ excellent article on www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk.
Tim told the website “Lots of people were complaining about why the FA weren't paying for the covers, but no one seemed to realise that the only place the money is going to come from is from the fans. Something big needs to be done to get them to realise how little it will cost for each fan to pay, from what I worked out it would only cost 3000 fans £6.70 per fan!”
He went on “The reason I donated was that I think it is important for the fans of the club to support it and if we all come together we can make the club stronger in the long run”.
Thank you, Tim, we appreciate your support.
Remember, contributions can also be made by joining the Trust (£15.00 for season ticket holders and £20.00 for all other fans) or, if you prefer, by making a donation.
By joining the Trust you benefit by becoming a part of the major shareholder of the club, gaining discounts in the club shop, having priority for big match tickets, receiving vouchers for discounts from local businesses and services, and by having an elected representative on the Board of Directors.
